Check to see if these sessions ever go away. There is a bug in TC 5.5 up to and including 5.5.20 (could be 5.0 as well, I'm not sure) where sessions can live forever under load. If you are load testing to check out the memory usage, you might be triggering this bug where sessions are not expired.
