1. Since it is shared environment, we have to allow JDK1.5 features for future applications - So We have to compile them against JDK1.5_b10 (We don't like to run multiple Tomcat JVM as of now)
Can you share past experiences in migrating JDK1.4 to JDK1.5 - projects. 2. Yes, We came across few codes are written against specific parser, trying to package those parsers along with web application. Just a quick question: Do you plan to: - Upgrade Tomcat but continue to run the same compiled webapps (still compiled under 1.4 or with 1.4 compatibility turned on in a later compiler), or - Upgrade Tomcat and compile the webapps with the 1.5 compiler in 1.5 mode? These are two different options.
