-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 All,
Just a note about checking the "up-ness" of a web server... I use httping, which is just about the same as using wget, except that you don't have to use grep to check the status code... httping allows you to define which status codes are considered "success", and then return an appropriate error code. I find that to be cleaner than grep'ing for success. http://www.vanheusden.com/httping/ - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.5 (MingW32) Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://enigmail.mozdev.org iD8DBQFFbGXF9CaO5/Lv0PARAsxcAJ478S6bQqe/DJpd97yaf2edpG22KwCeM7vN TH/gWW3qr7X/kNcszXC9q7k= =cYxD -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To start a new topic, e-mail: users@tomcat.apache.org To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
