Hi, I want to know if there is an API that I can call to inform me that tomcat has started and is ready for requests.
When starting up Tomcat one of my tasks is to deploy an axis service. Basically I start Tomcat on port 8080 and I want to be sure that it is ready to accept requests. Is there an API call that I can use to check that tomcat is indeed ready and waiting to service the request.
