Douglas, In the Windows Start menu, assuming you have Tomcat 5.5 or greater, you should have a shortcut to "Monitor Tomcat". That's a very useful tool and I believe it can answer all of your questions. In case you don't have the shortcut, it points to this:
"C:\Program Files\Apache Software Foundation\Tomcat 5.5\bin\tomcat5w.exe" //MS//Tomcat5 HTH, ~Peter -----Original Message----- From: Douglas Ferguson [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Tuesday, September 26, 2006 11:55 AM To: users Subject: Tomcat As A Service I have a few questions about tomcat as an NT service. 1) I found this page, http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.5-doc/windows-service-howto.html. It talks about how to set all the settings, but is there a way to view the settings? 2) When JVM is set to auto what does it use? JAVA_HOME? 3) How can I tell what JVM the service is using? --------------------------------------------------------------------- To start a new topic, e-mail: users@tomcat.apache.org To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
