I wasn't aware of SessionManager. However, I'm not sure it will help. Generally we are installing patches on a live server that has transactions/activity going on while we patch. I'd like to know if its possible for us to do a hot patch without causing any disruption to any user. If we reload, it will cause users to lose data that they are working on.

You can save your sessions easily using the Session Manager (just insert the following in your context.xml: <Manager className="org.apache.catalina.session.StandardManager"/>): http://tomcat.apache.org/tomcat-5.0-doc/config/manager.html On 8/28/06, Hammad Sophie <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hello. > > I've searched through and read a number of messages related to 'hot > deployment'.
