I did a reboot and now everything works, so it must have been still running in the background? Thanks for all your help.

Thanks Raju, ive placed the jars but i still have the same problem, I've checked all bash_profile files doesnt seem to be a double entry anywhere and the default the server uses is /etc/profile according to the bashrc. Could there be a double entry anywhere else?
