Which one wins the catalina-base/conf/web.xml or the
Webapp/WEB-INF/web.xml.

I just noticed that the one under catalina base contains:

<session-config>
  <session-timeout>30</session-timeout>
</session-config>

Or do they get merged?

Thanks,

Dan
