I like this idea as an enhancement to procrun. I would also point out, for anyone interested, that my alternate installer supports upgrading without needing to document the settings: It automatically stops the service, updates the files, and restarts the service (preserving all configuration details). https://github.com/Bill-Stewart/ApacheTomcatSetup Bill
