Hi All, I've got a couple of questions on using client authentication with Tomcat. I have multiple clients that need to communicate with a single Tomcat server. It would be ideal if those clients could be authenticated before data is exchanged.
1) Does each client need a certificate signed by a trusted Certificate Authority, or can self signed certificates be used? 2) Is a client certificate bound to one particular hostname or IP address? In my case the clients would most likely be using DHCP. Thanks for any responses, Sean --------------------------------------------------------------------- To start a new topic, e-mail: users@tomcat.apache.org To unsubscribe, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] For additional commands, e-mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED]
