Couple of questions: Are you running Tomcats as a published app in Citrix? After restart, are you seeing another process started on same xenapp server?Just wondering how is that possible as port is static. Can you please give more details about the 'stuck' Tomcat process? 3 Thread dumps in 5sec intervals would be great. From your description it seems that process entering in hang state. Please use -F switch of jstack to dump threads. Are you still able to connect to the hang Tomcat using JMX? What about the 2nd instance, is that accessible via JMX?
