tomcat.service - Apache Tomcat Web Application Container Loaded: loaded (/etc/systemd/system/tomcat.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled) Active: activating (auto-restart) (Result: exit-code) since Tue 2016-12-20 13:27:49 PST; 5s ago Process: 31130 ExecStop=/opt/tomcat/bin/shutdown.sh (code=exited, status=1/FAILURE) Process: 31117 ExecStart=/opt/tomcat/bin/startup.sh (code=exited, status=0/SUCCESS) Main PID: 31129 (code=exited, status=2) And I'm still getting the same results from the journalctl -xe.
