Like Andreas I would vote for Weld (http://weld.cdi-spec.org/) - it is the Reference Implementation of CDI for the Java EE platform. It is easy to install (read http://balusc.omnifaces.org/2013/10/how-to-install-cdi-in-tomcat.html) and has an outstanding documentation (http://docs.jboss.org/weld/reference/latest/en-US/html/).
