Hello, thanks for the many replies. I do have many third party libaries (struts, fop etc.) so that could cause it. I also have a singleton pattern which is used many times because it hands out database connections.
I will set the MaxPermSize variable in the CATALINA_OPTS variable and see what happens. The problem whith PermGen space also occurs when I redeploy too often in a short amount of time.
