All,

I'm having a problem with mod_jk 1.2.40 under Apache 2.4.10. After a
successful start up, accessing the mod_jk status page gives me a 500
error with no errors on the screen or in the logs.

Here's what I see from a mod_jk trace log:

[Sat Jan 10 19:49:33.904 2015] [1814:2930715456] [debug]
find_match::jk_uri_worker_map.c (984): Attempting to map context URI
'/jk-status=jk-status-read-write' source 'JkMount'
[Sat Jan 10 19:49:33.904 2015] [1814:2930715456] [debug]
find_match::jk_uri_worker_map.c (1007): Found an exact match
'/jk-status=jk-status-read-write'
[Sat Jan 10 19:49:33.905 2015] [1814:2930715456] [trace]
find_match::jk_uri_worker_map.c (1010): exit

There are no errors in the log, there are no errors in the httpd error
log, either.

Oddly enough, when I try to access httpd's status page, I also get a
500 error with no explanation and no errors in the logs.

When starting httpd from the command-line, there are no errors or
anything.

Any ideas?
