It is NetBeans-only. Stock 8.0.14 starts fine using startup.bat from Windows Explorer. > > It's also odd that it has something to do with using tcnative at > the same time. > That was my quick and dirty thought since I did a grep (cygwin) on all of the files in CATALINA_HOME/bin, and that's the only file that mentioned 127.0.0.1. I moved tcnative-1.dll out of the bin directory and Tomcat started from within NetBeans. I then added a setenv.bat file to the directory which explicitly sets JRE_HOME (even though it's set as a global environment variable). NetBeans was then able to launch Tomcat even with tcnative-1.dll in the bin directory. I'll poke around if I have some time. I'll also see if this occurs on a Linux platform. > -chris . . . . just my two cents /mde/ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v2 iQEcBAEBAgAGBQJUWPqxAAoJEEFGbsYNeTwtPooH/jpXYxwe5h97IsuI3kZ8Uprw OC2pTuJI8R95q1nATELEH44uMdWyu9YV6zyT0idkbZmdjU/VeFw7+QrtTop7or4J 4SH3ZTAFcvW4VqaQP3Z24kG1+8T9vpug1RsWnWabh8ioHz6qYKPEgvKhxa+fOopL gCbzEVObywOS/bRexilbZeJYUmQQOncEeVuqAQMpVqCW2yOf4DLJ+jtb7NVAalj+ H+YhVW8Adtip4DR8Kd/C0hIl5R/Gf8uEQjqlVh0SEPS8GwZFo9QJFhS6XD5Q44XK 0cMx/OHD8I6T/OVBAqND+Wf1KXUTfBnjQF9XeJvgs6MVCgMN2LKeutWxKXs5OpY= =Qhdj -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --- This email is free from viruses and malware because avast!
