The Apache Tomcat team announces the immediate availability of Apache Tomcat 8.0.14.
Apache Tomcat 8 is an open source software implementation of the Java Servlet, JavaServer Pages, Java Unified Expression Language and Java WebSocket technologies. Apache Tomcat 8.0.14 includes numerous fixes for issues identified in 8.0.12 as well as a number of other enhancements and changes. The notable changes since 8.0.12 include: - Update the Java WebSocket support to version 1.1 of the Java WebSocket specification. - The Windows installer, the Windows service and the Windows service management application are all digitally signed. - Experimental support for Cookie parsing using RFC 6265. Note that the configuration options associated with this feature are not stable and *will* change in the next release. - Performance improvements to annotation scanning on web application start.
