Sorry, maybe I misunderstood *you*: do you want to change the session-timeout 
of the Manager application itself, or were you looking to use the Manager 
webapp to change the session-timeout of /another/ webapp?

I'm sure that the Manager application would never be updated to modify the 
session-timeout of /another/ web application that would survive restarts, etc.

Modifying another webapp's session-timeout at runtime from the Manager might be 
doable, but saving would violate spec at least and be confusing at best.

Thanks for the info. Yes, I was referring to using the "Tomcat Manager" to 
change the expire session minutes of an existing web application. But it seems 
like it would be more complicated than just modifying the config file itself.
