I have this probem from time to time and was wondering if anyone else has seen it. Using the Tomcat Manager to deploy a war file remotely works most of the time, but sometime it doesn't. When it doesn't work you can't undeploy the app. There is no error message, but the app doesn't go away.
It also doesn't run. It seems you can start it fine, but when you try to connect to it you get an error page with this on it: *The requested resource* (your app here) *is not available. *I've seen this with Tomcat 5.0.18 on a Unix box and 5.5.16 on Windows XP and 2K. Does anyone know what to do about it? -- Esse quam videri (to be rather than to seem)
