It sounds very simple :-) When I start Tomcat, it seems to start, but then it dies again. I get the following message in the catalina log file: "This release of Apache Tomcat was packaged to run on J2SE 5.0 or later. It can be run on earlier JVMs by downloading and installing a compatibility package from the Apache Tomcat binary download page." I assume that my versions of Tomcat, and Java, are not compatible, and I'm trying to find out which version of Java I have. I am running SLES9 SP3. >From a "find" it looks like it might be: /usr/lib/IBMJava2/jre (?)
