To paraphrase Tom, you can configure it with a gold-plated Rolls Royce,
as long as you pay for it.

You have to have some kind of native SSL engine underneath: that's
what makes it "native". I'm sure someone could write a shim for
GnuTLS, but nobody has done that, yet.

Patches are always welcome.
