Looking for favourable reply. To add to what others have said: You can even have the same version of Tomcat installed multiple times on the same machine: they won't interfere with each other (other than port conflicts as others have mentioned). If you are using Microsoft Windows and want to run Tomcat as a service, you will have to give the services different names so that they do not conflict with each other. Similarly on *NIX, if you want to use service-startup-scripts (which most *NIX platforms use, like /etc/init.d, etc.) then you will need to make sure you take into account the fact that you have more than one Tomcat that needs to be launched. - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG/MacGPG2 v2.0.17 (Darwin) Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlCH8M8ACgkQ9CaO5/Lv0PC8YQCgivrXXmlmG6V27JNlWr+jpIbz s78Ani625sH8I3Jhna/e+0vawIVkJ1Dv =22L9 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@tomcat.apache.org
