Was there a reason you needed a huge heap like 25GB? Yes. In another thread, the OP stated that they store insane amounts of stuff (like 10MiB+ worth) in sessions and need to support many simultaneous sessions (the example was 3000). The worst part about a heap dump like that is that it generates an enormous file when the JVM crashes. - -chris -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG/MacGPG2 v2.0.17 (Darwin) Comment: GPGTools - http://gpgtools.org Comment: Using GnuPG with Mozilla - http://www.enigmail.net/ iEYEARECAAYFAlB15t4ACgkQ9CaO5/Lv0PA9cgCgwWnXzXiOvo07Ua+kEw04KNal Y10AoL/3e+P30caKDIFr+Uv/cr0JMSbV =ABVO -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe, e-mail: users-unsubscr...@tomcat.apache.org For additional commands, e-mail: users-h...@tomcat.apache.org
