On number 1 5.0 logs the entire stack trace, so you can jump to the line number. On 5.5, no such stack trace in any file. Also, I searched a few lists and many people had questions on what was wron when they saw that error. I think the cause is the lack of information....it should at the very least log the stack trace and does not.
