I have been running into problem after problem it seems with 5.5.16. Does anyone know the stability differences between 5.0 and 5.5. Here are some examples so far(I think there are more but it has been so hardgoing in 5.5)
1. exception from ServletContextListener results in vague error of Error listenerStart 2. could not get logging of ServletContextListener to work 3. facelets example apps don't work It seems however, I can get most things to work in 5.0. Any comments? This is a fresh install of tomcat 5.5.16. 5.0.28 seems fine.
