It is a difficult question. I wrote it because of these reasons: 1. To see how busy the datasources are and be able to reset them without server restart.
2. To see the contents of http sessions and not only their count. 3. To be able to download logs from the server without typing a bunch of linux commands. 4. To be able to pre-compile or re-compile JSPs conveniently. The best thing to do is to make your own judgment about the differences. This is why I setup a live demo, which you can fully explore.
