jakarta-tomcat-4.1.31, takes unusual load about 20-90% while sleeping.

Hi,

Environment: Redhat Linux 2.4

Tomcat does not clean up the sleeping clild process, moreover it consumes
unusual load for the sleeping process.

I really appreciate any help regarding this.
