There's a JIRA asking for a way to replace a component by another
automatically, so, for example, <t:datefield> or t:type="DateField"
actually uses Barry's DateField or your own implementation. Of course,
this replacement component should be able to handle the same parameters or
it will fail at runtime. This way, you could just contribute to a
ComponentReplacer service and have it working. I'll try to implement this
in the near future. Feel free to nag me about this. :)
