There's not an inbuilt component, I'm not sure exactly what you're doing but it might be worth looking at infinite scroll.
This library allows you to render a page with a "next page" link which is then hidden after applying the plugin. It's been on my TODO list for a while now to integrate this with tapestry. http://www.infinite-scroll.com/
