Thanks Thiago... No I really dont have to pass the classtype as the parameter... I can hardwire it in the java class.
My code is still in prototype development state... and I appreciate your taking the time and helping. I am upgrading my Gallery widget... and happy to share when done... I used it in T-4.1.2 and it is fairly cool. So I will keep you posted when ready.
