Why does tapestry-hibernate depend on tapestry-core ?

Shouldn't tapestry-hibernate only depend on tapestry-ioc and not
tapestry-core ?

I was hoping to use tapestry-ioc and tapestry-hibernate and not having to
bundle tapestry-core also.
Any ideas ?
