Hi everyone,
Hi!
Bumped into Tapestry just last week and have been amazed by it's power.
Tapestry seems the best kept secret in the web framework space.
I love Tapestry too. :)
My only problem is the looks of it's creator, Howard Lewis Ship. Geez,
that man is darn ugly. Couldn't imagine ugly people like him could
produce such a great work. Normally, I don't use things created by ugly
people but this
time I'm going to make an exception.
I can't see why the look of the creator of a software package matters.
Most of the people who created programming languages and laid out the
knowledge in computer science don't look exactly good. See
http://www.codethinked.com/post/2007/12/The-Programmer-Dress-Code.aspx and
its follow-up post for references. Very funny reading, by the way. :P
We would be prototyping an application
with Tapestry in 4 weeks at my company. I hope people here would be nice
to me and answer any questions I may have during implementation.
As long as you don't care how good the people in this list look, we're
here to help. :)
PS: my mom and my girlfriend say I look good. :D
