So a community-driven documentation effort is out of the question unless we come up with a system or procedure that complies with ASF rules.We could just require to sign a CLA for people that want to help out with documentation. This would mean to give rights to modifiy/create only to people with CLA. It is the way struts2 handles this issue. This way people who want to help with documentation would not need commit rights.
