Yes.

I add annotations to the source, but not hibernate ones. I use other "simpler" which finally generate
hibernate annotations (at runtime).

IMHO, this solution is more complex than just using JPA annotations. They're very simple already.
Are theses simples annotations part of some public package?

One example, If a Person has a list of Address, it's not necesary any
annotation, it will automatically add "one2many". It's not a big tool, it's
just simplifing. And thanks for clarifying that T5 uses it's own
classloader.

Just for the classes it controls, not your services or entity classes, so I guess Tapestry is not interfering with your solution.
