If you're a beginner, why don't you use Tapestry 5.1? Unless you need to
work in an existing Tapestry 4 project, there's no reason to use a past
and harder to learn version of Tapestry.
About your question, I don't use Tapestry 4 for a looooooooooong time,
since the Tapestry 5.0.4 (maybe 5.0.3, I can't recall) times.
