Funnily the javadocs haven't been regenerated with the 5.1.0.1, 5.1.0.2
and 5.1.0.3 releases, they are still for 5.1.0.0.
In the meantime, the DoubleTranslator has been replaced with the more
generic and locale-aware NumericTranslator.
Also check the nightly docs at
http://tapestry.formos.com/nightly/tapestry5/.
