There's no timeline - done when it's done. Regarding other responses, we've had some talk with OpenXava people and sharing the metadata (annotations) with them is a possibility, but in Trails, we've tried to make the auto-generated UI easily customizable rather than focusing mainly on model-driven development with pre-defined workflows.
