Regarding the select with objects, you can use the BeanSelect component
provided by the t5-component library. Although i've hit a bug using it where
i get a javascript error if i add the OnEvent mixin to the BeanSelect
component. The workaround was to not use the BeanSelect component but use
the provided GenericValueEncoder and GenericSelectionModel classes directly
instead.
