i don't understand i always found difficulty to make my templete looks fine using tapestry 5 in firefox ?

Most people here, I suppose, writes HTML for Firefox first (mostly because of the wonderful web development extensions Web Developer and Firebug) and then adapt the result for IE. Maybe your webdesigner wrote HTML and CSS specifically for IE, including its bugs and idiosyncrasies.

And, most of the time, if something renders differently in Firefox and IE (or Opera or Safari vs IE), IE is wrong, because of its poor web standards support. Take a look at this: http://tapestryjava.blogspot.com/2008/06/time-breakdown-of-modern-web-design.html.

By the way, this is a discussion about HTML and CSS only, not about Tapestry. ;)
