project manager actually) in Boston (near the Children's museum). We are a 
small (~30 people company) with a great culture (read: beer fridge and legos) 
and challenging projects (I'm in the process or releasing a huge T5 project now

Here are the position descriptions: 



Software Engineer 

We are looking for talented, passionate software engineers to join our team 
crafting web-based solutions to complex problems. You will lead the development 
of relational or XML database-driven web applications from concept to release 
in small, collaborative teams. The position offers the responsibility and 
visibility found only in an entrepreneurial environment including day-to-day 
client contact. 


Our ideal candidate will have 2+ years professional experience in these areas: 

· Strong Java skills (experience with other languages a plus) 

· Experience with modern Java web frameworks and libraries 

· Testing techniques and technologies (Selenium, HtmlUnit, TDD, etc) 

· XML technologies such as XML, XSLT, and XQuery 

· SQL and relational databases (Hibernate a plus) 

· MarkLogic or other XML content repositories 

· Excellent communication and personal skills 


QA Engineer 


You will work closely with other members of the engineering department to: 

    • Define engineering quality standards 
    • Investigate and set up technologies and infrastructure to 
maintain/enforce those standards 
    • Continuously improve existing & introduce new ways of automating QA 
    • Work with other engineers to improved quality of developer-written tests 



You must be well versed in: 

    • Java web application development and web frameworks 
    • Unit, integration, web, performance, and acceptance testing tools such as 
JUnit, TestNG, HtmlUnit, Selenium, and FIT 
    • Modern testing methodologies such as Test-Driven Development 
    • Code metric and static code analysis tools such as FindBugs 
    • Investigating and integrating new technologies and frameworks on a 
regular basis 


(Other technical skills are the same as the Software Engineer position above)
