I put the example (basically the T5 quickstart demo with one unit test added) in a zip-file to reproduce the problem. http://www.comsys.informatik.uni-kiel.de/~jze/tapestry5-quickstart.zip Initially version 5.0.5 is selected and "mvn test" should run successfully. After changing the version to 5.0.6 in pom.xml (near the end of the file) the test will fail. I am going to take a look the Tapestry's source code. Maybe I can find the relevant change from 5.0.5 to 5.0.6.
