Just another tidbit... The parent is actually Home.html I guess I am wondering why the Script component is not rendering when specified deeper beyond Home.html Are there limitations?Best regards Ken in nashua
From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: RE: Script component locality of definitionDate: Mon, 12 Nov 2007 13:30:38 -0500 The reason why I am asking this... is because then I specify the @Script definition in the parent, the javascript code gets rendered properly in the initialization of the body and just near the actual widget markup. If I specify the @script definition in the child, no scripting gets rendered at all... and this is with both the java/jwc specifying body=true. So what is happening to the javascript? Is this a bug? If there is a preferred or limited fashion in usage, please advise. Thank YouBest regards Ken in nashua From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: [EMAIL PROTECTED]: Script component locality of definitionDate: Mon, 12 Nov 2007 11:54:57 -0500 Folks, I have ParentTemplate.html and ChildTemplate.html ChildTemplate is a tapestry Component ChildTemplate happens to exercise tapestry script and has a respective ChildTemplate.script QUES: Where should I place the @Script definition... in ParentTemplate or ChildTemplate ? I realize this could depend on what formal/informal parameters/bindings are available or unavailable from either context... maybe not...
