Hi all, I just tried using the rounded corners service. I'm have trouble with side shadows generation:
1) Side shadows are always generated as PNG images. This shouldn't be too much of a problem since it doesn't seem to be using any transparent background, and I don't need to support very old versions of IE (seems to be working good enough with IE6 and 7). 2) Side shadows generate a white pixel border, which is fine if your background is white, but mine isn't... For instance, consider a top left corner with a grey background and a lighter grey foreground: /rounded?c=F8F8F8&bc=F2F2F2&w=17&h=17&a=tl&sw=2&o=.2 And the top side shadow: /rounded?s=top&sw=2&o=.2 (actually within a CSS style like this one: background: url(/rounded?s=top&sw=2&o=.2) #F8F8F8 repeat-x top;) They don't fit side by side because of that white pixel border on the top side shadow. So, if I may suggest a fix, could it be possible to add a background color parameter to the side shadow generation, which would: - force generation as GIF - generate the border pixel in the apropriate color. If you need a JIRA entry or a cup of coffee, just tell me Ch.
