Hi, which Tapestry version are you referring to? And what exactly do you mean with "in a final object" - are you talking about a component? In what way is the "final" part relevant?
In Tapestry 4.0.x, the BasePage provides getLocale() and getMessages() methods. But I guess that's not what you are looking for?
