Nice news, thank you Andreas. Has anyone succeeded using it with Windows version? Nothing happens when I add Tapestry 4.0 to the used frameworks for existing project, and for a new web project when I check Tapestry 4.0 under frameworks, indicate base dir for Tapestry (4.0.2) and click finish, the dialog box just stucks (and no templates are generated). JDK version is 1.5 update 7.
