So I agree completely that recompiling from the RHEL SRPMs is one way to go about it. If you have the time, energy, expertise and desire to figure all of that out. On the other hand, folks can just install the freely offered compiled, packaged and tested images that Cirata provides to the open source community as we have done for well over a decade (first as WANdisco, now as Cirata).
