At dnswl.org we use ASN data to identify potential „bad actors“, by aggregating 
reputation data over ASes. The gain in accuracy is not as big as we originally 
hoped for, as it is most often correlates strongly with reputation data 
aggregated over IP addresses (with some exceptions). 

It may provide more value for reputation data from IPv6 sources, but that is 
still statistically insignificant at around 1% of overall traffic we observe 
(it may be very different for some users, but that is what we see overall).
