Hi,

I'm having the same problem on two systems where they were running
fine, then amavis just stops responding. Restarting it results in it
just hanging, just before the point where it spawns the child
processes.

Could this be related to the most recent update? I've disabled the
spam scanning functionality in amavis, and it then operates properly
with just the virus scanning.

In fact, running "spamassassin --lint -t -D < testfile" results in
spamassassin just hanging at the point where it reads up to the last
regression_tests.cf rule:

...
Dec 23 09:53:53.871 [13306] dbg: config: using
"/var/lib/spamassassin/3.004001/updates_spamassassin_org/regression_tests.cf"
for included file
Dec 23 09:53:53.871 [13306] dbg: config: read file
/var/lib/spamassassin/3.004001/updates_spamassassin_org/regression_tests.cf

then it just stalls forever.

I have a couple hundred messages in the queue, so I'm really hoping
someone has some immediate ideas how to fix this.

How can I pull the previous updates to see if it's related to the
changes on the 21st?

Thanks,
Alex
