@KAM,
[root@zzzz log]# ps -ef | grep clam clamscan 26581 1 0 04:22 ? 00:00:06 /usr/sbin/clamd -c /etc/clamd.d/scan.conf --nofork=yes clamd is running. However, trying clamdscan –c /etc/clamd.d/scan.conf eicar.txt I log the following error: WARNING: lstat() failed on: /path/to/eicar.txt This happens both as a regular user and as root. Clamd is running as UID and GID clamscan. I added my user to GID clamscan and still get the lstat error. @Olivier, I’ll ask you my question about Perl “glue” after I work out the clamdscan issue. Thanks both so far… From: Kevin A. Perhaps clam daemon isn't running.
