Greetings to all the list.
I'm using SA by some years, and my setup get clearly complex as time
passes.
I'm using, for SA box, Debian stable, version 3.3.2-5+deb7u3; all setup
(at least 4) are similar, with a similar config file, but with
different hardware and networks/ISP (so, DNS servers).
All system use sa-update to keep the rule updated (standard debian
setup).
Trying to fight against a recent spamrun, i've found that all the *BL
(DNSBL, URIBL) rule not apply:
rita:~# zgrep spamd /var/log/syslog* | grep BL_
rita:~# zgrep spamd /var/log/syslog* | wc -l
2179
rita:~#
i've not disabled them:
rita:~# grep ^skip /etc/spamassassin/local.cf
rita:~#
and i've also tried to add some manual scoring:
rita:~# grep ^score /etc/spamassassin/local.cf | grep BL
score URIBL_BLACK 3
score URIBL_RED 0
score URIBL_JP_SURBL 3
score URIBL_AB_SURBL 3
score URIBL_OB_SURBL 3
score URIBL_WS_SURBL 3
score URIBL_SBL 3
score URIBL_DBL_SPAM 3
score URIBL_DBL_PHISH 3
score URIBL_DBL_MALWARE 3
score URIBL_DBL_BOTNETCC 3
score URIBL_DBL_ABUSE_SPAM 3
score URIBL_DBL_ABUSE_REDIR 3
score URIBL_DBL_ABUSE_PHISH 3
score URIBL_DBL_ABUSE_MALW 3
score URIBL_DBL_ABUSE_BOTCC 3
but nothing changed. I've looked at the docs, eg:
https://wiki.apache.org/spamassassin/DnsBlocklists
but Net::DNS is installed and works, and i've enabled RelaysUntrusted
finding that the Received: chain are properly evaluated.
How can i test DNSBL and URBL usage? How can i fix it?
Thanks.
